The Kamen District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction based in Kamen . It is one of the district courts sponsored by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia .

District Court District

The district court is responsible for the cities of Kamen and Bergkamen in the Unna district . Around 97,000 people live in the 86 km² judicial district . In addition, the district court of Kamen is responsible for agricultural matters in the districts of Kamen and Lünen.

Superior courts

The regional court superordinate to the Kamen District Court is the Dortmund Regional Court , which in turn is subordinate to the Hamm Higher Regional Court .
