The Knesebeck District Court was a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Knesebeck . The seat of the court was the office building, the former castle .

After the revolution of 1848 was the Kingdom of Hanover , the jurisdiction of the administration separated and the patrimonial abolished. The district court was then founded with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities as a royal Hanover district court. It included the office of Knesebeck . The district court was subordinate to the higher court of Celle . In 1859 the court was dissolved and the judicial district was assigned to the Isenhagen District Court .
