District court Meersburg

The District Court of Meersburg was a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Meersburg in the Grand Duchy of Baden . First it belonged to the district of the court court of the Seekreis , later of the district and court court of Constance .

history

The Meersburg District Court was founded in 1857 as part of the separation of jurisdiction and administration in Baden during the state reorganization after the revolution of 1848/49. The court court of the Seekreis in Constance was superordinate to the court. In 1864 the District and Court Court of Constance took the position of the higher court. In 1872 the district court of Meersburg was abolished and the district court of Überlingen took over its district.
