An der Zinkhütte is a district in the Heidkamp district of Bergisch Gladbach .
history
The name An der Zinkhütte refers to the former Bensberg-Gladbacher Zinkhütte , which was built here in 1853. It was in operation until 1931. In the years that followed, a larger industrial area developed on the old zinc smelter's premises. Among other things, Krüger (food) has its headquarters here.
