The Nevado Nevado Anallajsi is a 5,750 m high stratovolcano in the highlands of the South American Andes -state Bolivia . It is located in the La Paz department, 20 km north of the Sajama , the highest peak in Bolivia.
The time of its last eruption is unknown, but its most recent lava flow appears to have flowed from a chimney on the mountain's north flank. The volcanic cone of the Anallajsi consists mainly of andesite and dacite rocks. It rises from a plateau, which consists mainly of ignimbrite rock.
