Anao is a metropolitan parish in Tarlac Province on Luzon Island in the Philippines . It has 11,528 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 18 barangays . She belongs to the 5th income bracket of the communities in the Philippines.
The municipality of Anao is the smallest administrative unit in the province of Tarlac and is located in the northeastern part of the province. It borders in the north on the municipality of San Manuel , in the east on Nampicuan , in the south on Ramos , in the west on Paniqui and Moncada . It is located approx. 34 km northeast of Tarlac City and approx. 157 km north of the Philippine capital Manila and can be reached from there via the Mc Arthur Highway.
