Systematics
Class : Insects (Insecta)
Subclass : Flying insects (Pterygota)
Superordinate : New winged wing (Neoptera)
Order : Ghost horror (Phasmatodea)
Subordination : Verophasmatodea
Partial order : Anareolatae
Scientific name
Anareolatae
Redtenbacher , 1906

The Anareolatae are a sub-order within the order of the ghost horror (Phasmatodea).

features

The representatives of the anareolatae lack the area apicalis, a triangular depression that is present on the distal inner surfaces of the medial and posterior rails ( tibia ) of the areolatae . The division of the Verophasmatodea into these two sub-orders is based on the assumption that the triangular impression typical of the Areolatae is an original feature. If this is not the case and all anareolatae are derived areolatae, this classification would be invalid.

Systematics

The systematics of the anareolatae is generally in need of revision . At present (as of 2018) only two families are distinguished. While the Diapheromeridae family can be divided into four subfamilies, the Phasmatidae family has nine subfamilies as well as two unclassified tribes and two genera without further classification:
