Anastassija Konstantinowna Brysgalova ( Russian Анастасия Константиновна Брызгалова , English Anastasia Bryzgalova , born December 13, 1992 in Saint Petersburg ) is a Russian curler . She mainly plays in mixed doubles.

Career

At the Junior World Championship in 2014 she played as the lead of the Russian junior women's team under Skip Alina Kowalewa and won the bronze medal. At the Mixed World Championship in 2016 , she played on the position of third under Skip Alexander Kruschelnizki ; the Russians won the gold medal.

At her first Mixed Doubles World Championship , she played with Kruschelnizki for Russia. The two moved into the final and beat the Chinese team with Ba Dexin and Wang Rui . The title defense at the Mixed Doubles World Championship 2017 did not succeed; Brysgalowa and Kruschelnizki were only ninth.

Together with Alexander Kruschelnizki she played in the first mixed doubles competition at the  2018 Olympic Winter Games for the Olympic Athletes from Russia team . The two finished third after the Round Robin . In the semifinals they lost to Switzerland ( Jenny Perret and Martin Rios ), but were able to beat the Norwegian team ( Magnus Nedregotten and Kristin Skaslien ) 8: 4 in the game for third place and win the bronze medal. After her partner Kruschelnizki was found guilty of doping on February 22, 2018 and was excluded from the Winter Games, she returned her bronze medal, as did Kruschelnizki.

At the European Championships in 2018 , she played third in the Russian women's team around Skip Alina Kowaljowa . The team got into the playoffs, but lost in the game for 3rd place against Germany (skip: Daniela Jentsch ).

Private life

Brysgalowa has been married to her play partner Alexander Kruschelnitski since 2017.
