Anatoly Alexandrov ( Cyrillic Анатолий Александров; * 3. February 1967 in shakhtinsk , Karaganda , Karaganda , Kazakh SSR ) is a former Kazakh boxer in the super featherweight and normal boom . He was trained by Viktor Safonin .

On January 26, 1994 he boxed against the South African November Ntshingila for the vacant international title of the association WBC and won by unanimous decision. The following year he was European champion by winning points over the French Jacobin Yoma .

On April 25, 1999 he became WBO world champion when he beat the previously undefeated Arnulfo Castillo by technical knockout in round 1. However, he lost the belt in his first title defense in August of the same year against the Brazilian Acelino Freitas due to a severe knockout in the first round.
