Anatoly Lazarevich Kolodkin

Anatoly Lasarewitsch Kolodkin ( Russian Анатолий Лазаревич Колодкин ; born February 27, 1928 in Leningrad ; † February 24, 2011 ) was a Russian lawyer . From 1996 to 2008 he was a judge at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea .

Life

After studying at the Leningrad State University , he was head of department at the Central Marine Scientific Research Institute in Leningrad from 1956 to 1968 . Then he moved to the State Institute for Research on Maritime Transport in Moscow , of which he was deputy director for a long time. In 1971 Kolodkin received his doctorate from the Leningrad State University, where he also completed his habilitation in 1985 . From 1981 he was president of the Maritime Law Association and professor at Lomonosov University .
