Anatoly Reshetnyak
Anatolij Volodymyrowytsch Reschetnjak ( Ukrainian Анатолій Володимирович Решетняк , English transcription Anatoliy Reshetnyak; born April 14, 1955 in Evpatorija ) is a former Ukrainian middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance runner for the Soviet Union .
At the European Athletics Championships in Prague in 1978 he finished fourth with his personal best of 1: 45.79 min and sixth at the 1979 World Athletics Cup in Montreal.
In 1980 he reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Moscow . At the European Championship in Athens in 1982 , he was eliminated in advance.
In 1979 he was Soviet champion and in 1978 Soviet indoor champion.
