Anatoly Balchev ( Ukrainian Анатолий Маркович Бальчев Anatolyj Markowytsch Balchev ; born July 28, 1946 ) is a Russian composer , actor , screenwriter and director .

Live and act

Anatoly Balchev initially worked as a composer, creating pieces for the cinema and theater as well as songs for Russian pop stars and publishing albums with his own songs. In 1990 he made his debut as a director in the self-written piece The Poets' Café .

In the 1990s, he co-produced the Russian-American project Cops in Russia , the Russian version of Fox Television's COPS TV show . In 1998 he founded the Apollo film studio . His intensive studies of the filmmaking practiced in Holywood enabled him to direct the Russian-American film Passenger from San Francisco . He has written several scripts waiting to be made into a film.
