The Anckorn Nunatakker are a group of nunataks and snow-covered hills that are spread over a length of around 25 km between Mount Bailey and Mount Samsel in the east of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1976 after the geologist John Fergus Anckorn (* 1949) from the British Antarctic Survey , who was active in the vicinity of this formation.
