Andalucia ( Arabic الأندلسية, DMG al-Andalusiyya ) is a planned city located 20 kilometers from the Jordanian capital Amman . The luxury development, designed as a gated community , is a project by Taameer Jordan Holdings and is financed by Jordan Kuwait Bank. A circular street plan opens up 582 villas of ten different types. The utility and leisure facilities in the center of the facility include clinics, restaurants, parks, and swimming pools. The total area is about 0.8 km².
The project started at the end of 2005 and should be completed in 2009. In 2015 not all houses were finished.
