Anders Bäckegren (born July 25, 1968 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish handball player .
Bäckegren initially played in his home country with BK Heid and Redbergslids IK . In 1996 he moved to the then German second division club VfL Bad Schwartau . With Schwartau he rose to the Bundesliga two years later . After Bäckegren tore the second cruciate ligament of his career in December 2000, he ended his career shortly thereafter.
Bäckegren played 57 international matches for the Swedish national team , in which he scored 92 goals. With Sweden he won the silver medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona .
