Anderson Cléber Beraldo (born April 27, 1980 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian football player who is under contract with América FC .

Club career

He started his career with Corinthians São Paulo . He competed for the Brazilian flagship club until 2005. Then he dared to move to Europe and went to Benfica Lisbon . There he played on the side of compatriot Luisão in central defense. However, he rarely played in the second season, as he was looking after his sick son in Brazil. In the summer of 2007 he then moved to Olympique Lyon for three million euros . In the 2008/2009 season he was loaned to São Paulo FC .

National team

Anderson Cléber made his debut in 2005 against Guatemala in the Seleção . He scored his first goal straight away in his first international match. Despite this performance, he was not called back to the national team.
