András Baronyi

András Baronyi (born September 13, 1892 in Budapest , † June 6, 1944 there ) was a Hungarian swimmer and athlete .

On November 17, 1907, Baronyi set a world record in breaststroke swimming over the distance of 100 meters with a time of 1: 24.0 minutes.

He took part in the swimming competitions of the Olympic Games in London in 1908 and in Stockholm in 1912 .

At the 1912 Games he was seventh in the standing long jump .
