André Matisic

André Matisic (* 27. November 1992 in Hamburg ) is a German Kart - racing driver . In 2013 he won the German Kart Championship and in 2008 he won the ADAC Kart Masters title in the ICA Junior class and in 2016 in the KZ2 class.

Career

André Matisic got into karting in 2003 and drove there in the Bambini B and A classes until 2005. In 2006 he switched to the ICA Juniors and in 2008 achieved his first major career success with first overall place in the NAKC, the national final and the ADAC Kart Masters. In 2008 he was also second in the gold cup and third in the DMV national championship.

In 2009 he was promoted to the KF2 class and started there and in the following years in the ADAC Kart Masters and the DMV Federal Championship. There he was able to regularly place in the field of the best six drivers.

In 2013 Matisic achieved his greatest success to date with the championship title in the German Kart Championship. In the following year he finished fourth overall in the German Kart Championship and started at the same time in the German Shifter Kart Championship (DSKM) in the KZ2 class. In 2016 he won the ADAC Kart Masters title again. He finished the DSKM season 2017 in sixth place.

André Matisic works as an industrial clerk at a composite material manufacturer in Hamburg.
