André Zoch

André Zoch (* 1969 in Wuppertal ) is a German film and television producer ; he received a Grimme Prize nomination for The Lives of the Philosophers .

Life

After studying culture and communication studies, Zoch initially took on tasks as assistant director, production manager and production manager. In Cologne he worked for Friedrich Küppersbusch on the TV magazine “Privatfernsehen”. With the series “Harter Brocken” with Aljoscha Stadelmann as the main actor and screenwriter Holger Karsten Schmidt, André Zoch has established one of the most successful ARD productions of recent years with Stephan Wagner as director. His other successes include the new edition of the ZDF classic "Ein Fall für Zwei" and the Body Switch comedy " Seitenwechsel ", which Warner Bros. brought to the cinema in 2016. Before that, André Zoch was in charge of the Tatort series “Lena Odenthal” for a number of years and produced numerous other television films such as the Grimme nominated comedy “The Life of the Philiosophen” directed by Holger Haase or the thriller “The Crown Witness” with Tobias Moretti in the leading role directed by Johannes Grieser.
