Andrea Covell

Andrea Covell (born July 15, 1953 in Elkhart , Indiana ) is an American actress .

Life

Covell attended Grand Valley State College in Allendale , Michigan , where he first came into contact with acting in college productions. In 1978 she moved to Los Angeles and took acting classes there. In the 1980s she had guest roles on a number of television series . Her best known role was as Jody in the TV series ALF . She was also a production assistant for over 20 episodes in this series. She then suspended her acting career to study psychology and worked in the HR departments of various law firms.

At the end of the 1990s she decided to make a “comeback” as a theater actress and was seen in the musicals Blue Country and Three Penny Opera at the Friends and Artists Theater Hollywood . With the East Theater Ensemble she played in several productions and was also active on the directorate of the theater. Covell has been a member of the West Coast Theater since 2002 and has been a manager for the ensemble since 2004.
