Andrea Gämperli (born April 5, 1995 ) is a Swiss floorball player . She is under contract with the National League A representative UHC Dietlikon .

Career

society

Gämperli began her career at UHC Jonschwil Vipers, and later moved to the next larger UHC Wil. After trial training in Winterthur and Dietlikon, the offensive player decided to switch to the UHC Dietlikon youth team. During the 2011/12 season, the junior player was nominated for three first-team games. She scored one goal and one assist. After this season, the club announced that they would be integrated into the first team's promotional squad the following season. In 2012/13, St. Gallen was used in seven games. She was then definitely promoted to the first team for the coming season.

Since then she has continuously improved and matured into a regular player. In the first season in the National League A you get ten scorer points. A year later, in 2014/15, it was able to more than double this quota. In the end, there were ten goals and 13 assists on her scoreboard. In the years to come she was able to confirm her strong performance. During this time she was able to celebrate three cup wins with Dietlikon . In the national championship they were subject to rival Piranha Chur in the finals .

Two days after the 2017 Cup final, the club announced that the offensive player's contract had been extended for another year until the end of the 2017/18 season. This means that the 21-year-old player will play her fifth season with the Dietlikerinnen. On March 29, the UHC Dietlikon announced the contract extension with the 22-year-old St. Gallen native.

National team

On June 11, 2016 Gämperli made her debut for the Swiss senior team . She previously played in the U19 national team . In the second game of the Swiss national team, she scored her first goal against Sweden . In qualifying for the 2017 World Cup, she became the seventh-best scorer with seven goals and four assists.
