Andrea Hoops

Andrea Hoops (born October 19, 1961 in Walsrode ) is a German politician ( GREEN ). From 1990 to 1998 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Hoops graduated from high school in Walsrode and then studied educational science at the University of Hanover (focus on adult education). She worked as a lecturer until she was elected to the state parliament in 1990. She has been involved in citizens 'initiatives since mid-1970, including the citizens' initiative to dissolve the Bergen military training area / Association for a military-free Heide eV In 1985, she joined the Green Party and finally became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament on June 21, 1990 (12 Electoral term and 13th electoral term).
