Andrea Hoops (born October 19, 1961 in Walsrode ) is a German politician ( GREEN ). From 1990 to 1998 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Hoops graduated from high school in Walsrode and then studied educational science at the University of Hanover (focus on adult education). She worked as a lecturer until she was elected to the state parliament in 1990.
