Andrea Lehmann (* 1975 in Düsseldorf ) is a German painter . Her works contain elements of hyperrealism , neo-romanticism and manga .

Life

Lehmann attended the Düsseldorf Art Academy in 1995 , which she graduated with a diploma in 2002. Here she was a master student of the Rector of the Academy Markus Lüpertz . The friends and sponsors of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf made it possible for her to receive a travel grant in 2001. In 2012 she received catalog funding from the Bonn Art Fund Foundation . Lehmann lives and works in Düsseldorf.

Since 2000, Lehmann has sent numerous solo and group exhibitions in Germany, including in Düsseldorf, Cologne, Berlin, Baden-Baden, Gladbeck, Siegburg, Speyer, Remscheid, Wiesbaden, Karlsruhe, Ratingen, Wiesbaden, Bochum and Mülheim an der Ruhr. She has also exhibited in London ( Saatchi Gallery ), Brussels, Milan, Prague (Ministry of Culture, 2005), Amsterdam, Arnhem, Venray, Reykjavík, New York, Miami (Rubell Family Collection, 2005) and Tacoma.
