Andrea Mitchell
Andrea Mitchell (born October 30, 1946 in New York City ) is an American journalist , author and television commentator.
Education & career
In 1967 she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania .
She has been under contract with the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) since the late 1970s . From 1988 to 1992 she was senior correspondent for the United States Congress and from January 1993 to November 1994 she held the post of senior correspondent for the White House . She then switched to her current role as senior correspondent for international affairs.
family
In 1997 she married her second husband, Alan Greenspan , then chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank .
In 2005 she wrote a book entitled "Talking Back ... to Presidents, Dictators, and Assorted Scoundrels", a chronicle of her work as a journalist.
