Andrea Pohling

Andrea Pohling (born February 21, 1966 in Finsterwalde ) is a former German badminton player .

Life

In 1982 Pohling won her first medal at the GDR championships of the AK 14/15. Until 1984 she was one of the top 12 junior players in the GDR. At the age of 17, she made the leap into the major league team of Progress Tröbitz and, as a regular player, made a significant contribution to winning the bronze medal at the GDR team championships in 1984. With the beginning of her education studies she withdrew from the active badminton sport. Andrea Pohling now lives in Finsterwalde and works as a teacher in Sonnewalde .
