Andrea Prandstraller
Andrea Prandstraller (born May 20, 1959 in Padua ) is an Italian documentary filmmaker and film director .
Life
Prandstraller graduated from DAMS in Bologna in 1981 in film history. From the following year he worked for a dozen years as an assistant director for various important directors, among others. a. Francesco Rosi and Carlo Lizzani . From 1987 he was responsible for various short films and numerous current documentaries and features for RAI 3 , RAI Sat Arte, History Channel and National Geographic . For episodic films ( De Generazione and Intollerance ) he contributed two feature film segments. Prandstraller's script for Nudi alla meta received the Premio Solinas ex aequo with Marco Pettenello in 2007 . Further documentation followed in the new millennium.
