Andrea Rauch

Andrea Vidal Rauch (born January 18, 1939 - June 29, 2013 ) was a Swiss brigadier . From 1991 to 1997 he was in command of Fortress Brigade 23 of the Swiss Army .

Life

In the course of his career as an instruction officer in the Swiss Army, he headed the Artillery Shooting School in Bière and the Monte Ceneri Artillery Recruit School . Before he was in command of Fortress Brigade 23, he was responsible for the Foppa Grande fortress on the Gotthard and the last in command of this artillery plant. After his retirement at the end of 1997, he was involved in various projects and associations to preserve the fortresses on the Gotthard .
