Andrea Biaggio Pasquale Ignazio Maria Savaresi (born February 1, 1762 in Naples ; † March 2, 1810 ibid) was an Italian doctor, naturalist, metallurgist and mineralogist .

Savaresi took an early interest in science (including mathematics) and, following a family tradition, studied medicine at the University of Naples and in private lessons with doctors in Naples. He then gave classes in medicine and chemistry in Naples and worked on a chemistry lexicon, an Italian translation of the lexicon of Pierre-Joseph Macquer . In 1789 he went on a trip to Germany, England, Austria, Hungary, Bohemia, Poland and France with colleagues, where he studied mineralogy and metallurgy. He now turned completely away from medicine and dealt with the improvement of iron works in Calabria (armory in Mongiana , iron works in Stilo and Ferdinandea). With his friend Vincenzo Raimondini (1758-1811) he worked on a geological map of the Kingdom of Naples and was most recently administrator of the powder tower of Torre Annunziata . Working on it ruined his health and he died soon after.
