Andreas Albes
Andreas Albes (born June 30, 1967 in Göttingen ) is a German writer and journalist .
Life
He wrote his first novel in 2003. He has been working as a journalist for Stern since 1998 . Before that he was u. a. worked as a police reporter for Bild in Munich and as local manager at the Neue Presse in Hanover. As a foreign reporter for Stern, he reported a. a. from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, from Chechnya, Syria and Ukraine. In Germany he worked in various departments. Andreas Albes was the foreign correspondent for Stern in Moscow, Athens and New York. He has received several awards for his work. Since 2015 he has lived as a reporter with his family in New York.
