Andreas Baranski
Andreas Baranski (born March 10, 1960 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a former German middle -distance runner who specialized in the 1500 meter distance .
In 1979 he became German champion with the Ludwigshafen 4 x 800 meter relay. Over 1500 meters he won bronze at the German championships in 1981. In the hall Baranski won the German championship title in 1982 with the 3 x 1000 meter relay.
At the European Indoor Athletics Championships he was fifth in Milan in 1982 and sixth in Budapest in 1983 . In 1983 he won silver at the Universiade .
Andreas Baranski started for LAV Rala Ludwigshafen until 1982 , then for VfB Stuttgart .
