Andreas “Boppi” Boppart (* 1979 in Eastern Switzerland ) is a Swiss secondary school teacher phil. II, Protestant theologian, preacher, author and, since 2013, head of the Christian mission organization Campus for Christ Switzerland .

Life

Andreas Boppart grew up in Arbon and Grabs . He trained as a secondary teacher phil. II. Later he studied theology and completed his studies with a master's degree. In 2004–2006 he set up an internal school for the youth ward everyday , a justice home for young people with behavioral problems. He then worked for the religiously independent mission and training movement Campus for Christ Switzerland , where he worked as a youth and event preacher. He headed the youth section of Campus for Christ Switzerland, was the initiator of projects such as THE FOUR , Aktion Gratishilfe and conferences such as Explo 15 and Explo 17 . He volunteered as a freelance editor in various magazines and internet portals, and was also the band leader of the band foundfree , which published five CDs. From 2008 to 2010 he was a member of the school board and from 2009 to 2010 President of the School Council of Zizers , Canton of Graubünden . In 2013 he became the successor of Hanspeter Nüesch as head of the Christian missionary organization Campus for Christ Switzerland, and in 2019 also head of Campus for Christ Germany .

Private

Boppart is married to Tamara, they have four children and live near Zurich .
