Andreas Brandl

Andreas Brandl (born August 28, 1937 in Holzolling, Upper Bavaria ) is a German enduro athlete .

Career

Between 1960 and the mid-1970s he was a successful motor sportsman. At the beginning he dedicated himself to grass track and ice races and then switched to trials and later to enduro (at that time still off-road driving). Brandl was u. a. Member of the FRG national team at the 47th International Six-Day Race . He had his great days in racing as a works driver for the Munich brand Zündapp in the 50 and 75 cm³ classes. He was employed as a mechanic at Zündapp until the decline in 1984, after which he switched to BMW-Motorrad.

For his sporting success in off-road driving (today Endoro) he was honored on May 28, 1969 by being awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf.
