Andreas Buske

Andreas Buske (born February 8, 1955 ) is a German lawyer and presiding judge at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg.

Life

Andreas Buske has been presiding judge at the 7th civil senate of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg since December 19, 2011. Before that he was the presiding judge of a civil chamber of the Hamburg Regional Court responsible for press matters .

The arbitration bodies headed by Buske are particularly known for their judgments on the admissibility of statements in media coverage . Has become known u. a. a decision about the claim that Gerhard Schröder dyes or tones his hair. In 2006, the Hamburg Regional Court under Buske's chairmanship banned parts of a film about Contergan. In the Böhmermann case , the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court under Buske's chair in 2018 judged statements from the poem under discussion as inadmissible.
