Reply video to Rezo

“The mockery of the press” , his reaction to the video “The Destruction of the Press” by Youtuber Rezo , which he also wrote as a video, was received with a divided echo. Ralf Heimann discusses the response video for the MDR as a "somewhat annoyed video replica" and states that the "sound of the video [...] is not friendly", and van Lijndens "pissed off [...] can be understood, but it still stands in the way ”, he agrees with the deficiencies in the Rezo video, but criticizes the response video that it mainly defends the FAZ instead of“ the press ”and that the deficiencies shown in the Rezo video are overlooked Journalism itself could lie. The history department head of the news magazine Der Spiegel Jochen Leffers rated van Lijnden's video as “factual, rich in detail, with constructive anger in parts. Worth seeing. ”Steffen Daniel Meyer from Handelsblatt discussed the video in detail, praised“ the digital exchange of blows ”as“ [a] in a didactic piece on journalism ”and recommends that both videos be viewed as“ good training material for media literacy ”.
