Ralf Heimann

Ralf Heimann (born February 27, 1977 in Rheine ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Ralf Heimann grew up in Bentlage, Westphalia, a district of his native Rheine. There he made his Abitur at the Gymnasium Dionysianum . From 1997 he studied business administration, politics, philosophy and economics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . He finished his studies in 2003 with a degree in economics . He then worked as a freelance journalist. From 2005 to 2007 he also completed a traineeship at the Münsterschen Zeitung in Steinfurt and Münster and at the Ruhr Nachrichten in Dortmund . He then worked as a business editor and journalist for the Münstersche Zeitung. Since 2014 he has worked as a freelance author for Stern , Spiegel Online and SZ-Magazin , among others . He is one of four authors of Germany's oldest media blog waste paper and writes a column on Bildblog .

Ralf Heimann became famous for an overturned flower pot . Together with Jörg Homering-Elsner , the operator of the Facebook page Perlen des Lokaljournalismus, he published three books with style blossoms and funny missteps from German-language (local) newspapers, which were Spiegel bestsellers. The medium magazine chose Heimann 2014 in the category Reporter Regional of the ten journalists of the year in 2015 in the Entertainment category also among the top ten.
