Bretteville-sur-Dives is a village with almost 300 inhabitants in Normandy in France . The formerly independent municipality belonged to the canton of Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives in the Calvados department and was defeated in 2015 to the canton of Livarot . She was a member of the municipal association Communauté de communes des Trois Rivières and went with effect from 1 January 2017 in the commune nouvelle Saint-Pierre-en-Auge on. Since then it has been a Commune déléguée . Neighboring communities were Ouville-la-Bien-Tournée in the north-west, Le Mesnil-Mauger in the north, Vieux-Pont-en-Auge in the east, Boissey (point of contact) in the south-east, Hiéville in the south and Thiéville in the west.
