Le Mesnil-Mauger is a former French commune with a last 1,081 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2014), which is located in the Calvados department and in the Normandy region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lisieux and the Canton of Mézidon-Canon .

history
In 1972, the municipality of Le Mesnil-Mauger took the previously independent municipalities of Écajeul , Saint-Crespin and Sainte-Marie-aux-Anglais into the municipality.
It was established on January 1, 2017 with 12 other municipalities, namely Les Authieux-Papion , Crèvecœur-en-Auge , Croissanville , Grandchamp-le-Château , Lécaude , Magny-la-Campagne , Magny-le-Freule , Mézidon-Canon , Coupesarte , Monteille , Percy-en-Auge , Saint-Julien-le-Faucon and Vieux-Fumé merged to form the new municipality of Mézidon Vallée d'Auge .
