Grandchamp-le-Château is a village in the French department of Calvados in Normandy . The previously independent municipality was incorporated into the newly formed municipality of Mézidon Vallée d'Auge , a commune nouvelle , with effect from January 1, 2017 . Since then it has been a Commune deleguée . The neighboring towns are Le Mesnil-Mauger in the west, Lécaude in the north, Le Mesnil-Simon in the east and Saint-Julien-le-Faucon and Les Authieux-Papion in the south.
