Monteille is a village in the French department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The municipality , which existed until January 1, 2017, belonged to the canton of Mézidon-Canon in the Lisieux arrondissement . On that day, by a decree of September 8, 2016, it was absorbed into the newly formed municipality of Mézidon Vallée d'Auge . Since then it has been a Commune déléguée .
