Andreas Enkelmann

Andreas Enkelmann (born December 31, 1958 in Jena ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and member of the Thuringian state parliament.

Life and work

Grandson is married and has three children. He completed his studies at the University of Jena in 1983 as a graduate theologian. Two years later he passed the second theological exam and became pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Thuringia. Until 1989 he worked in the community of Graitschen in the Eisenberg district before he was elected student pastor in Ilmenau . The following year he was elected deputy district administrator for the Ilm district . Today he works in the Hospizverein Ilmenau eV

politics

In 1990 Enkelmann became a member of the First Thuringian Parliament , from which he left in 1999. During the first electoral term of his membership in the state parliament, he was chairman of the committee for economics and the arts and deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. He was also a member of the district council and deputy district administrator of the Ilm district. He also held the functions of deputy district chairman of his party.
