Andreas Faehlmann

Andreas Faehlmann (* 1898 in Saint Petersburg , Russian Empire , †  1944 in Poznan ) was an Estonian sailor .

His great-uncle was the Estonian philologist and physician Friedrich Robert Faehlmann . In 1917 Andreas Faehlmann began sailing in Petrograd .

With the IX. At the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam , Faehlmann was a member of the team of the Estonian boat Tutti V , which won the bronze medal in the 6-meter class behind Norway and Denmark . His colleagues were Nikolai Vekšin , William von Wirén , Eberhard Vogdt and his older brother Georg Faehlmann .
