Andreas Fanizadeh

Andreas Fanizadeh (* 1963 in St. Johann im Pongau ( Austria )) is a journalist and has been head of the cultural department of the Berlin daily taz since October 2007 .

Career

Fanizadeh studied politics and literature in Frankfurt am Main and then worked from 2000 to 2007 as a Berlin correspondent for the Swiss weekly newspaper . In the 1990s he worked for ID-Verlag and Edition ID-Archiv, for which he became a lecturer in 1993. The ID-Verlag, which since its founding in 1988 had primarily specialized in "the politics of the militant left after 1968". Fanizadeh published the publisher's own magazine Die Beute and opened the publisher to “debates in the field of art and pop culture ”.
