Andreas Fischer (business educator)

Andreas Fischer (born August 30, 1955 in Dannenberg ; † December 3, 2019 ) was a German business educator and university professor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Andreas Fischer studied business education at the Free University of Berlin . He passed an exam as a qualified commercial teacher and received his doctorate in 1990 on DGB consumer policy between aspiration and political practice . Subsequently, until 1997, Fischer was a research assistant at the central institute for specialist didactics at the FU. He completed his habilitation in 1997 with a thesis on the approach to sustainable business education . In 1998 he became professor for vocational and business education as well as economics didactics at the University of Lüneburg .

With the “BBS futur 2.0” project, he networked over 100 vocational schools. Fischer was involved in the implementation of the UNESCO World Action Program Education for Sustainable Development in the professional training forum.
