Andreas Graitl

Andreas Graitl (born March 12, 1984 in Berchtesgaden ) is a former German luge athlete .

The police master candidate Andreas Graitl started for the RC Berchtesgaden and lives in Marktschellenberg . He has been a luge since 1993. He was already very successful in the junior division, winning the overall junior world cup in 2004 and becoming junior world champion in 2006. In the same year he was fifth at the German championships. He achieved his best result in the World Cup in 2006 in Königssee with a fourth place. Andreas Graitl ended his career at the end of February 2008 and is now the Bavarian regional coach.
