After leaving Phoenix Solar in 2013, he was able to devote himself to a favorite pastime, as he himself says:

“When I left the company in 2013, I dedicated myself to monument preservation through numerous training courses and workshops and the search for a rural monument. I found it again nearby. And this time it was something special: the only known and still preserved example of a wooden structure in the district of Dachau from 1662 (the property was first mentioned in 1408). The roof structure is the oldest, dated, of a farmhouse in the Dachau district, which has been preserved. "

He has founded a contact point for the Farmhouse Interest Group in Sulzemoos , Dachau district , and thus officially represents this Germany-wide association.

Since 2018 he has been 2nd Deputy Chairman of the Foundation Board of Kulturerbe Bayern ; responsible for project planning and implementation.
