Company history
Phoenix Solar AG emerged from the Phönix Solar Initiative of the Federation of Energy Consumers , which was founded in 1994 , was founded on November 18, 1999 and entered in the commercial register on January 7, 2000 . At the Annual General Meeting on May 25, 2007, the shareholders decided to change the name from “Phönix SonnenStrom AG” to “Phoenix Solar AG”.

Since November 18, 2004, the "Phoenix SonnenAktie" has been traded over the counter on the Munich, Frankfurt am Main, Berlin and Stuttgart stock exchanges. With the start of m: access , the "quality segment " on the Munich Stock Exchange , Phoenix Solar AG switched to this segment on July 1, 2005. On June 27, 2006, the listing on the official market (now: regulated market) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange ( Prime Standard ) took place. In 2018, insolvency proceedings had to be opened in February because a US customer had drawn project-related letters of credit. In October the insolvency administrator managed to sell a solar park in Sicily. In September 2019 the share price was EUR 0.0185.
