Andreas Hauff
Andreas Hauff (real name: Paul Zach ), born January 26, 1944 in Preßburg (now Bratislava ) is an Austrian singer and lyricist in the field of popular hits .
Life
Hauff grew up in Linz in Austria . After school he attended the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz. In 1964 he founded the Manhattans group , where he worked as a drummer. In 1969 he started his solo career and in 1970 he got his first record deal. In the 1970s he represented Austria at the festival in Sopot , Poland , where he was among the top four.
In 1982, he made his breakthrough in the popular hit sector. The song Say thank you with red roses is now considered an evergreen , which was recorded by numerous other performers. In the 1980s he mostly performed with his band Goldenes Kleeblatt .
He applied together with Lydia Huber at the Grand Prix of Folk Music 1988 . Their common title Wir shall'n you greetings from Munich was eliminated in the preliminary decision.
Today Andreas Hauff lives in Munich . He is rarely seen as an interpreter.
