Andreas Haupt

Andreas Haupt (born February 22, 1813 in Bamberg ; † January 28, 1893 ibid) was a German pastor and educator in Bamberg.

Life

Up until 1838 he was the main religion teacher at the Royal College (Altes Gymnasium) in Bamberg. From 1849 to 1853 he was the rector of this grammar school (today: Kaiser-Heinrich-Gymnasium ) until he became head of the Bamberg Natural History Cabinet (today: Natural History Museum ).
