Andreas Hofmeister (born September 12, 1980 in Wiesbaden ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and has been an elected member of the Hessian state parliament since 2013 .

After graduating from the Tilemann School in Limburg an der Lahn and completing military service in the Bundeswehr, Hofmeister began studying process engineering in Frankfurt am Main, which he completed in 2005 as a graduate engineer. Since January 2010 he has been the district manager of the CDU Limburg-Weilburg.

Hofmeister entered the Junge Union as a student in 1997 and the CDU in 2000. He was district chairman of the Junge Union and has been the state treasurer of the Hessian JU since 2009. Andreas Hofmeister has been a member of the district council of Limburg-Weilburg since 2006 and of the city council of his hometown Bad Camberg since 2011 . In the state elections in 2013 he ran as a direct candidate in the constituency of Limburg-Weilburg II and achieved 43.8% of the constituency votes; He is one of 47 CDU MPs in the Hessian state parliament. Hofmeister defended his mandate in the state elections on October 28, 2018

Hofmeister lives in Bad Camberg and is single.
