Andreas Kögler
Andreas Kögler (born March 4, 1878 in Graz , † July 16, 1956 in Zug ) was an Austrian sculptor .
Life
Kögler studied sculpture at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts from 1908 to 1912 and then attended Edmund Hellmer's special school until 1915 . In 1920 he was involved in furnishing the St. Anton Church in Zurich and made four bronze reliefs for the pulpit with depictions of the four evangelists. Little is known about his life and work. What is certain is that he lived in Vienna in 1947 and moved to Zug in October of that year . Several grave monuments were erected there until his death in 1956.
